Cool Cash rebate amounts, fall 2026
Rebates are set by Carrier for each equipment tier. Complete systems (outdoor unit, indoor unit and a Carrier control installed together) earn the largest amounts; single units and ductless systems earn their own rebates; controls and Infinity air-quality products add to the total.

Examples
- Infinity heat pump + Infinity furnace + Infinity control installed together: $1,700 system rebate.
- Infinity heat pump replaced with an Infinity furnace kept: $700 (heat pump) + $400 (furnace, if replaced) = $1,100.
- Performance ductless outdoor unit plus a Performance furnace: $300 + $75 = $375.
Rebates apply to Carrier Infinity® and Performance™ series equipment on Carrier’s fall 2026 qualifying list, for example the Infinity 27VNA1 and 26VNA1 outdoor units, the 59MN7, 59TN6 and 59TN7 Infinity furnaces, the Performance 27TPA8, 27SPA6, 26TPA8 and 26SPA6 outdoor units and the 59TP6/59TP7 furnaces. Comfort™ series equipment is not on the fall 2026 rebate list. Controls included in a qualifying system do not earn a second add-on rebate. We confirm the exact rebate for your equipment on the written estimate.

Rebate on the invoice
Instant rebate: GSHA applies the Cool Cash rebate as a separate line item on your invoice at the time of sale, so there is nothing for you to mail in.
GSHA files the claim
We submit the claim to Carrier’s incentive program with your invoice and model numbers before the December 20, 2026 deadline. You keep the savings; the paperwork is ours.
Who qualifies
- Homeowners in the United States (Carrier also runs the program in Canada).
- Replacement or add-on systems only; new construction does not qualify.
- Single-family primary or secondary residences; commercial, multi-family, investment properties and properties listed for sale do not qualify.
- Equipment must be sold between August 1 and November 20, 2026 and installed on or before December 20, 2026.
- Only equipment on Carrier’s fall 2026 qualifying list earns a rebate; limited inventory may apply to some models.
Financing and utility rebates
Carrier’s financing page advertises 0% APR for 60 months on the Carrier credit card (issued by Wells Fargo Bank, N.A.) for qualified buyers during the fall program, and says it can be combined with Cool Cash only when the equipment is installed by a Carrier Factory Authorized Dealer. Financing programs available through GSHA are on our financing page; ask your comfort advisor which plan applies to your project before you decide, because some financing plans cannot be combined with the rebate.
Cool Cash is separate from any ComEd or Nicor Gas rebate. Utility rebates depend on your utility, the equipment installed and the installation date, and we check current eligibility during the estimate.

How much is the Carrier Cool Cash rebate in fall 2026?
Carrier advertises up to $2,100 in Cool Cash rebates for the fall 2026 program. The rebate depends on what is installed: a complete Infinity® system earns $1,700, a Performance™ heat pump system $800 and a Performance air conditioner system $600, and controls or Infinity air-quality add-ons stack on top. Single-unit replacements earn smaller amounts (see the tables above). Your written estimate shows the exact figure for your equipment.
When do I have to buy and install to get the rebate?
Buy between August 1, 2026 and November 20, 2026, and have the equipment installed on or before December 20, 2026. GSHA files the claim by Carrier’s December 20 deadline; you do not mail anything in.
How do I receive the money?
Cool Cash is an instant rebate. GSHA deducts it as a separate line on your invoice at the time of sale, so your price is already reduced. Carrier’s incentive program reimburses GSHA afterward.
Which Carrier equipment qualifies?
Infinity and Performance series equipment on Carrier’s fall 2026 qualifying list, including the Infinity 27VNA1 heat pump and 26VNA1 air conditioner, the 59MN7, 59TN6 and 59TN7 Infinity furnaces, the Performance 27TPA8, 27SPA6, 26TPA8 and 26SPA6 outdoor units and the 59TP6 and 59TP7 furnaces, plus Infinity and Performance ductless systems. Comfort™ series equipment is not on the fall 2026 rebate list. Some models are marked limited inventory by Carrier.
Does a repair or a new-construction home qualify?
No. Cool Cash applies to replacement or add-on systems in single-family primary or secondary residences. New construction, commercial and multi-family properties, investment properties and homes listed for sale do not qualify.
Can I combine Cool Cash with financing or utility rebates?
Carrier’s financing page advertises 0% APR for 60 months on the Carrier credit card (issued by Wells Fargo Bank, N.A.) for qualified buyers during the fall program, and says it can be combined with Cool Cash only when a Carrier Factory Authorized Dealer installs the equipment; some other financing plans cannot be combined with the rebate. Ask your GSHA comfort advisor which plan applies to your project and whether it stacks with Cool Cash, and see our financing page for the programs available through GSHA. ComEd and Nicor Gas rebates are separate programs with their own equipment and date rules; we check your eligibility during the estimate rather than promising a utility rebate up front.
What does the free estimate include?
A GSHA comfort advisor measures the home, checks the existing furnace, air conditioner, ductwork, venting, gas and electrical, and gives you a written quote for one or more matched Carrier systems with the Cool Cash rebate shown as its own line.
Do I need a whole new system to get a rebate?
No. Replacing one piece of equipment also earns a rebate: for example $700 for an Infinity heat pump, $500 for an Infinity air conditioner or $400 for an Infinity furnace or air handler. Complete systems earn the larger system rebates.
