Utility rebates and financing

ComEd and Nicor Gas run their own rebate programs for high-efficiency furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps and smart thermostats. Eligibility depends on your utility, the exact equipment and the installation date, so we check it during the estimate rather than promising an amount here. Financing for qualified buyers is described on our financing page.

Questions and answers

How do I know which promotion applies to my installation?

Each offer has its own equipment list and dates. Tell us what you are replacing and when, and the written estimate shows the exact rebate for the equipment you choose. If more than one brand fits your home, we can quote both.

Are rebates taken off the price or mailed later?

It depends on the manufacturer. Carrier Cool Cash is an instant rebate that GSHA deducts on the invoice. Lennox rebates are paid as a Lennox Prepaid Mastercard after the claim is approved; GSHA provides the invoice with model and serial numbers and can help you file.

Can I combine a manufacturer rebate with a utility rebate?

Often yes, because they are separate programs, but each has its own rules. We confirm ComEd or Nicor Gas eligibility for your equipment and installation date during the estimate.
