FAQs

Is 98.5% AFUE worth it?
Often, yes. Because the 59MN7 captures more heat from the exhaust, it cuts gas use versus older or 80% units, especially in long heating seasons. It also runs longer at low output for quieter comfort.

What is Greenspeed® and why does it matter?
Greenspeed® pairs the modulating gas valve and variable-speed blower with the Infinity control. Therefore, the furnace can adjust in very small steps to match demand, which improves temperature stability and reduces noise.

Will it help in summer too?
Yes. The variable-speed blower and Ideal Humidity System™ capability can enhance dehumidification when matched with compatible cooling and controls.

Does it qualify for rebates and tax credits?
Available rebates are not included in website prices. Ask about eligibility and how any qualifying rebates would affect your written estimate. The federal Section 25C credit does not apply to equipment placed in service after December 31, 2025.

What’s the warranty?
With timely registration on eligible installs, you get Consumer Choice parts options and a lifetime heat-exchanger limited warranty (jurisdiction rules apply). We register equipment for you. (Carrier)
